Annual SPOC workshops

In 2023, 53 members from the SPOC centre participated in the annual SPOC workshop held at the Hvedholm Slot on August 21st-24th. The sharing of knowledge and the deelopment of exciting research ideas was memorable, and all SPOCers had a wonderful time in the beautiful surroundings. 

In 2022, 48 members from the SPOC centre participated in the annual SPOC workshop held at the Kokkedal Slot on August 22nd-25th. Exciting research ideas were discussed, knowledge was shared, and of course all SPOCers had an amazing time in the beautiful surroundings. 

In 2021, 47 members from the SPOC centre participated in the annual SPOC workshop held at the epic Dragsholm Slot.

The SPOC workshop 2020 was held at Dragsholm Castle. Though we missed the physical presence of SPOC´s international partners we enjoyed some exciting days with scientific discussions, great food and scenery, while outlining future plans for SPOC.

In 2019, SPOC members spent four days (26th to 29th) at Sophienberg Castle. Exciting research ideas were discussed and of course, the SPOCers had a lot of fun fishing and swimming.

In 2018 the SPOC centre spent 4 days in Sophiendal Manor in Jutland, discussing new reasearch ideas and planning future projects.

In 2017 49 members from the SPOC centre participated in the annual SPOC workshop held at Kragerup Estate Aug 28-30. 

The annual SPOC workshop is a four day event in Denmark. In 2016 the workshop took place in Sørup Herregaard, one hour South-West of Copenhagen.

In 2015 the annual SPOC workshop took place in Hvedholm Castle from 1587 in beautiful Funen.
